MulberryFest 2007
July 27th, 28th and 29th.
The cabin has 3 bedrooms and 2 couches with enough room to sleep 10. There is plenty of floor space as well. Bring fishing poles, boats (there is a boat launch at the camp), kayaks, canoes, inner tubes, beer, wife, girlfriend (only if you don't have a wife), dogs, sleeping bags, tents, more beer, guitars, bug spray, food, toilet paper, and anything else you can think of. There are quite a few people that that I don't have email address for so pass this around. I need to get a headcount as we are planning on smoking some pork butts, ribs and chickens. I will be there Friday the 27th around noon. I will put a big sign at the end of the driveway so you will know when you are there. See you soon!!!
Mulberry Lane is around mile marker 13 on Highway 72 (this highway's mean).

Camp Howard on Mulberry Creek
Camp Howard was build by my grandfather A.G. Howard some 60 or so years ago. I remember spending many summers as staying and playing at "The Camp". The camp is still in the family and is currently being maintained and utilized by many generations of Howards.
Camp Howard is located on Mulberry Creek In Colbert County Alabama near Cherokee. Mulberry Creek flows into Pickwick Lake on the Tennessee River.
The camp is about 1/2 mile upstream from the river. The channel is deep enough for most boats. It's also an incredible fishing spot.
